RESOURCES TO HELP YOU SUCCEED AT EVERY LEVEL

Welcome to our JCripps Design on a Dime resource section, a curated list of the tools and websites we highly recommend for business owners choosing to go DIY or who may need services we don’t provide in-house. We have personally used every company on this page, and many of the services listed here are crucial to running our own business (or were responsible for developing JCripps Design to where it is today).

Before we share the resources we regularly use and trust, we must make an important disclosure:

Some of the links below are affiliate links, which means that if you choose to make a purchase, we will earn a commission. This commission comes at no additional cost to you! Please understand that we have experience with all of these companies, and we recommend them because they are helpful and useful, not because of the small commissions we make if you decide to buy something. We will never promote companies or products that we haven’t used at some point in our own day-to-day operations. While we appreciate the support you will be showing JCripps Design by placing your order through these links, please do not spend any money on any of these products unless you feel you truly need them, or that they will help you achieve your business goals.

Smartmockups

One of the most tedious tasks in ECommerce is designing product mockups for your online store. Smartmockups is an online mockup generator with 1600+ ready-to-use product images available for you to customize from right inside your browser. You can even pull screenshots and images from a specific URL into your designs, right in the editor. WOW.

Upwork

Upwork is a great platform to hire freelancers to help you with your projects. You can find some amazing talent to help you design new graphics, manage your next project, design technical manuals, help with your website, and so much more. You can even find us on there! We do a lot of virtual work for clients all over the world through platforms like this. It’s a great way to find qualified candidates to help you out, no matter what your project needs are.

Shopify

There’s a reason we use Shopify for all websites we create, even when our clients aren’t selling physical products online in an ECommerce setting. It’s got a powerful backend that is simple to use, trusted payment processing, dynamic plug-in features like online appointment booking, beautiful themes that are thoroughly vetted for mobile responsiveness and optimal functionality, and the platform offers amazing customer service and support.

Fiverr

Fiverr is one of the most unique platforms for quickly finding specialized digital content and services, customized to your needs. You can order services from freelancers all over the world, who specialize in creating all manner of videos, advertisements, presentations, animations, voice-overs, promotional content, and so much more. There really are freelancers for just about everything, out there.

Canva

We like to think of Canva as a lighter version of Adobe Illustrator. It’s simple to use, even if you have very little design experience, and their collection of pre-designed templates, assets, and stock images helps you get started with your next graphics project quickly and easily.

Crowdfire

Crowdfire is a dynamic social media content manager that helps you develop, customize, and share content to your favorite social media platforms. It will help you take key actions on each of your social media accounts to help you take advantage of each platform’s complex algorithms, and help you boost your user engagement and organic follower count.
